Charity Day Presentation of a cheque for £1,629 by Mark Seaman, Financial Director, Port of Felixstowe to Julie Rose on behalf of Suffolk Community Foundation.

The money was raised by port employees at the Port of Felixstowe Charity Day 2013.
04 August 2013 Port Community Fund Stand at "Wings on Waves"

Sunday 4th August 2013, Felixstowe Seafront was teeming with thousands of people enjoying the Wings on Waves event to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of seaplanes in the town. The Fund had a stand at the event. The aim of the stand was to raise awareness of the Port Community Fund and its supporters with a view to attracting new members and to promote its grant awarding capabilities to causes in need of funds. Felixstowe prom was awash with Port Community Fund balloons as people stopped by to enquire about the Fund, and pick up a host of branded goodies to take away with them. The event was a complete success and a lot more people now know about the Port Community Fund.
12 April 2013 Port Community Fund reaches £200,000 awards milestone

Felixstowe’s unique Port Community Fund has reached two milestones – it is celebrating its fifth anniversary and, at the same time, it has now awarded 100 grants worth more than £200,000.
